Just wanted to share this in case anyone else ran into this same issue. That is all. Stupid OS. Cmd should map to the Windows key, on a UK keyboard.

Kahaii Haahaa. Same problem here. Fun fact, on a Ubuntu live usb, it works. When I reboot on Mac OS no trackpad or keyboard responding…. January I tried all of the suggested fixes mentioned in this thread and none worked until……. I gently pounded on the bottom of the Mac with my hand and then lightly tapped it on a hard surface—voila!! Presto it works now!

John Flemming branchlake Rep: I have a 13" MacBook Pro bought in mid I have tried restarting my MacBook but this keeps happening. It has happened at least ten times. I have also tried doing this in safe mode but this does not seem to make a difference. Any and all help are much appreciated.
